It is very easy to create a page that is personal to your loved one.
You will need a valid email address and you will also need to login or register to our site, if you have not already done so. Registering should only take a couple of minutes.
You can set up your Hope Tribute Fund page. You can write whatever you want to about the person you are honouring, add photos, video clips and loads more.
There is space for diary entries and a timeline of important events in their life.
Once you have told your friends and family about your page, they can add their thoughts in a visitor's book, set up a sponsorship page if they want to fundraise, or sponsor someone else doing this. Each site has a Tree of Hope that friends can add leaves to for a set donation, or they can choose to donate an amount of their choosing.
All donations made through the site will automatically be allocated to your tribute fund and you will see your acorns accumulate, so you can keep track of exactly how much money has been raised in memory of your loved one.
You can also add a fundraising target if you want to. Some people want to aim for certain amounts of money, and at The Christie we have ‘planted' a brass Tree of Hope in a quiet garden at our main site. The tree thanks all those people who have raised over £15,000 in memory of someone with a leaf engraved with the name of the person who has passed away.
